Ludacris Checks Himself In For Some “Release Therapy” With His 5th Album
Atlanta rapper Ludacris has tentatively set a May 9th release date for his 5th major label album named “Release Therapy”.
Ludacris explains that the title of the project comes from the pride in releasing his 5th album when most modern artists struggle to reach their 2nd or even 3rd releases.
He goes on to say that for him music is therapeutic and with every release he gets a little more personal and comfortable with showing the world what he’s about.

His last album “Red Light District” released in late 2004 featured the smash hits “Get Back”, “Number One Spot” and the Bobby Valentino featuring “Pimpin’ All Over The World”.
In 2005 Ludacris recieved high praise for his role in the John Singleton produced film “Hustle & Flow”, in the film Ludacris played a Memphis based rapper “Skinny Black” whose own accomplishments inspire “DJay”, an up and coming rapper played by Terrence Howard.
Recently Ludacris has been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance for his track “Number One Spot”.
Expect “Release Therapy” to contain the usual selection of guests, star producers and club bangers.
To date Ludacris has sold over 10 million albums worldwide.
With the right mix of street credibility and commercial appeal expect him to sell millions more.
