Rhymefest Finally Getting A Firm Release Date For “Blue Collar”

After months of delay, Rhymefest’s eagerly anticipated debut album will hit stores on May 23 in North America.
The album called “Blue Collar” represents a significant milestone for Che Smith (Rhymefest) who has spent years honing his craft and working behind the scenes of the music industry.
He is most known for having written parts of Kanye West’s Grammy winning rap song “Jesus Walks”.
His album is set to feature a cavalcade of big time producers including Mark Ronson, whom Rhymefest is signed to through Allido Records, Just Blaze, Cool And Dre and Kanye West.
Featuring on the album in a performance capacity are noted artists Mario, Q-Tip, acoustic soul balladeer Citizen Cope and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard (now known as Dirt McGirt).
