Snoop and Tha Dog Pound Set to Release Thier Upcoming Album “Cali iz Active” in June
So you’ve been waiting 10 years…and now finally Snoop, Kurupt and Daz are set to ride for the West Coast This June with thier upcoming Album, “Cali iz Active”!!
The Trio recently reformed after years of beefing, recording deal issues and loyalty conflicts. They have been working solidly on the album which will be released through DoggyStyle/Koch Records on the 27th of June. Tha Original Dogg Pound Album Dogg Food sported a score of West Coast anthums and dropped at a very pivotal time in Hip Hop with the Snoop Murder Case in progress as well the Fueding between the East and West Coast scenes.
The New album is hoping to bring back the spotlight to the West with production from a long list of legends such as Battlecat, Fredwreck, Sean “P-Diddy” Combs, Alchemist, Jazzy Pha and Swizz Beats to name a few! There will be guest appearances from Bad Azz, B-Real, Busta Rhymes, Paul Wall, David Banner, and RBX.
The Single is tipped to be “Sittin on 23’s” produced by Swizzi however there is aparent competition with the Snoop laced title track “Cali iz Active”. Speakin of active the DPG crew will blazin a national tour with the Don Mega, Ice Cube commencing April 20 in where else?….but Cali. Fo’Shizzle-dizzle-This D-P-Gizzle Albizzle should be off tha Hizzle- Can Ya Dizzle? (man i’m so wack)
This june will also be the release date for many artists including, The Game, Ice Cube and Lupe Fiasco amongst others.
